“Katie has this slightly ridiculous habit of deciding that if she wants something done a certain way, she’ll just figure out how to do it herself. She steps back, thinks about what she wants to create, and then goes after it relentlessly until somehow, it exists. Photography is just the latest example. There’s no fear of being a beginner, because being afraid to learn would mean missing out on far too much. She picked up a camera, started asking questions, made plenty of mistakes, and kept going. Now she’s capturing some pretty incredible moments along the way. Honestly, at this point, we’ve stopped asking what she’s doing and just wait to see what happens.”
